On November 6, 202, the BEXUS Clan held its 2nd anti-vaccine pass street march in the Gangnam Station area. The event, which was organized in solidarity with other groups such as Baekjayeon, Daejayeon, and the Freedom Protection Forum, saw its scale nearly double compared to the first march.
Before the march through the streets of Gangnam, a weekly Saturday citizen lecture took place as usual. The gathering included speeches on the purpose of unity for the anti-vaccine pass movement, featuring introductions from the leaders of the participating organizations.
Chairman Alfred Kim stated, “The Great Awakening movement originally began in 18th-century colonial America, when religious leaders realized that only through spiritual awakening could independence be achieved. It was this spiritual revival that became a decisive catalyst for the American independence movement.” He added, “I hope that in Korea, our civic awakening will also evolve into a spiritual one. The vaccine pass policy promoted by the Moon Jae-in administration is not only unnecessary, but a repressive measure that infringes on citizens’ freedoms.”
Kim went on to explain why solidarity against the vaccine pass is necessary:“The vaccine pass not only promotes discrimination and oppression against the unvaccinated, but also suffocates small business owners. Many associations and organizations tend to hold protests for the sake of temporary compensation, only to disappear afterward. But temporary compensation is not a solution to the root problem. The true issue lies in a government that is violating the Constitution through authoritarian control policies.”
He continued, “The government will inflate the number of confirmed cases as needed and reimpose social distancing whenever it wants. We are being manipulated by their tactics of rewards and punishments. To resolve this at its core, our solidarity must not be a one-time event. It must continue and expand until the fundamental problem is addressed and true change is achieved.”
An anonymous deputy representative of the Korea Small Business Association explained the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on certain industries:
“Due to the pandemic regulations, the sports and nightlife sectors were the first to face gathering bans, and we suffered severe business downturns as a result.”
He continued:
“As my business declined, I had to take on a second job. I kept telling myself, ‘The gathering ban will be lifted soon.’ But eventually, my gym was seriously affected. I ended up working three jobs, sleeping only one hour a day. Even my parents and close friends didn’t know what I was going through—because I wanted to protect my dignity and identity. But that ‘short wait’ turned into two full years. And still, gym owners and nightlife businesses aren’t allowed to operate freely.”
“Even as the authorities refused to lift these restrictions, they started talking about compensation—then suddenly introduced the ‘vaccine pass’ as an additional measure. It felt like the government was now denying our basic bodily rights as citizens. I had participated in protests, memorial vigils, sit-ins organized by various groups. But seeing the government push forward with vaccine passes anyway, I realized those methods weren’t working. I decided it was time to view the world upside down—and that’s when I found BEXUS.”
Jin-Won Lee, a member of Baekjayeon, shared that the more he learned about the true nature of the vaccines, the more he realized how serious the issue was. That realization is what led him to join the movement.
He explained that Baekjayeon’s core mission is to oppose the vaccine pass and reclaim freedom.
“Holding balloons symbolizes returning to the innocence of childhood—and protecting freedom through that spirit is both our philosophy and our goal,” he said, describing the Balloon Revolution.
“At first glance, the people gathered here may seem to have different backgrounds and reasons for joining. But in the end, all our individual goals converge into a single, shared purpose. That’s why we must continue to stand in solidarity—until everything is truly resolved.”
Kyung-Min Hyun, a member of the Freedom Defense Forum, described the organization as “a group that upholds the conservative values of Presidents Syngman Rhee and Park Chung-hee.”
He explained,
“In the past, I used to align with leftist ideals—hoping for a world where workers would be treated with more dignity. But after discovering President Trump, I realized how misguided socialist and communist ideologies truly were. I was deeply moved by the conservative values that Trump represents, and I’ve watched every one of his speeches since then.”
Hyun also shared his deep frustration regarding the government's push for mandatory vaccination:
“The current administration is stripping away people’s freedoms under the name of vaccine mandates. Just thinking about the vaccine issue fills me with such rage that I can’t sleep. At a time when our freedom is being taken away, I simply couldn’t sit still and do nothing. I had to act—and that’s why I decided to join this movement in solidarity with others who feel the same.”
Chairman Jung-Hyun Kim cited an example from the Trump campaign’s “Great Awakening” movement and stated:
“The freedom movement in Korea must learn from President Trump. He persuaded the American people using simple language and concrete data. For example, the fact that Americans were losing jobs to Chinese workers was backed by clear statistics—and Trump used that fact frequently. He avoided complicated terms and instead spoke plainly, which made his awakening movement truly effective.”
“We must take the same approach to awaken citizens on issues like the vaccine pass and election fraud. One of President Trump’s greatest achievements was awakening and enlightening millions of ordinary people during his term in office.”
This is what Jin-Won Lee shouted during the anti-vaccine pass march at Gangnam Station:
“Teenagers didn’t choose to get vaccinated of their own free will. It makes no sense that they are dying from a vaccine they never chose. The fatality rate of COVID-19 is less than 1%—that’s a fact. So why are people being forced to take a vaccine and die? What is the purpose of this?”
“This isn’t just about teenagers. According to official records from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, 1,216 people have died as of today. They wouldn’t have died if they hadn’t been vaccinated. Why are people dying from a vaccine they didn’t need? Does this make any sense?”
“Even at this very moment, there are people suffering from vaccine injuries—but because they took it voluntarily, they have no one to turn to, no one to blame. In the name of so-called ‘COVID prevention,’ people are being pressured to get vaccinated. And if you refuse, you’re treated like a second-class citizen—oppressed and persecuted.”
“We must stop the vaccinations. We must withdraw the vaccine mandates. That is the only way to reclaim our freedom.”
Attorney Woo-Kyung Kim also took part in the anti–vaccine pass street march at Gangnam Station. He is currently leading two lawsuits: one to cancel the national COVID-19 vaccination plan, and another to halt vaccination plans specifically targeting adolescents aged 11 to 17.
Attorney Kim returned to Korea last year after studying abroad in the UK. On the very day of his return, he was shocked by the government's pandemic response—he said he was treated almost as if being detained by public health officials at the airport due to the mandatory two-week quarantine.
The following is what Attorney Kim shouted during the march:
“At Incheon International Airport—once wide, beautiful, and clean—I saw health officials dressed in bizarre hazmat suits. They escorted me to my parents’ home in the countryside, where I was forced into isolation. Back then, I had no idea that the freedom we once enjoyed—to travel, go abroad, move around freely, and meet friends—would all be taken away.”
“During my two-week quarantine, I searched everything in English. I found that there was no solid scientific basis for PCR testing, mask-wearing, or social distancing. Anyone with common sense can figure that out—even without being a medical expert.”
“The courts of South Korea are well aware of the risks associated with the COVID-19 vaccines, but they are pretending not to know—because they fear the government. Can such a judiciary make rational judgments? No. But they will, once you stand up, resist, and demand your rights. When the people awaken and raise their voices, the courts will finally act with reason. That time has not come yet. You must rise, awaken, and tell others the truth.”
And to summarize Attorney Kim’s core claim:
“The South Korean government is misleading the public on the scientific and legal basis of its COVID-19 policies.”
The Unscientific Nature of Mandatory Mask Wearing
First, mandatory mask wearing does not help prevent the spread of viruses at all. According to Attorney Kim, the coronavirus is 3 to 5 times smaller than the tightest N95 mask. Therefore, blocking the virus with a mask is impossible. Wearing a mask causes you to re-inhale your own exhaled carbon dioxide, leading to increased blood carbon dioxide levels as a side effect. When blood carbon dioxide levels rise, the blood becomes acidified, circulating throughout the body and weakening the immune system. Mask wearing not only has no effect in blocking viruses but also reduces immunity. In fact, health authorities said until mid-last year that "people without symptoms do not need to wear masks," but then changed the guidelines.
Attorney Kim continued, regarding the behavior of public officials enforcing masks, "There's no need to be intimidated in advance." He shared, "In my case, on the subway, a public official caught me because 'my mask had slipped below my nose.' So I told him, based on medical papers, 'Masks have no effect in blocking viruses. And even if the virus enters our body, it rarely develops into an infectious disease.'" Despite revealing these facts, the official forcibly dragged me out of the train car. The official even called the police and told them to fine Attorney Kim 100,000 won. However, the five or six police officers were unable to issue the fine. This is because the police partially agreed with Attorney Kim's claims. Attorney Kim said to citizens following the government's quarantine guidelines, "Public officials enforce mask wearing because it's their job and livelihood, but they can't issue fines. So, feel free to take off your masks and go about your day."
Companies, Workplaces, and Organizations Forcing Vaccination Are Subject to Punishment for Illegal Acts
Second, according to Attorney Kim, mandatory vaccination has constitutional issues. Article 12 of Chapter 2 of the Constitution states, "All citizens have the freedom of the body." Not only Article 12 but many items in Chapter 2 specify freedoms such as residence and movement, religion, conscience, speech, and publication, yet health authorities are infringing on these constitutionally guaranteed freedoms based on the Infectious Disease Prevention Act. They are distorting facts as if unvaccinated people are the main culprits causing infections. Attorney Kim said, "You can sue any company, workplace, or organization that tells you to get this (vaccine) shot," and added the following:
"The injection called COVID-19 preventive vaccination is not a vaccine. Traditional vaccines induce an immune response by injecting live or dead viruses, but this injection inserts genetic material that can produce the virus, allowing the virus to be continuously generated in our body. Therefore, this is not a vaccine. They are deceiving you by calling it a vaccine. It is an injection of unidentified genetic material. The method is so hazardous that in animal experiments, all animals became ill or died. This is not a vaccine; rather, it's an injection that can make our body produce the spike protein, which is part of the coronavirus. Why do they lie and call it a vaccine that blocks the virus while making our body produce the virus? What is the reason for forcing it to this extent? Just from this, we can see that the government's quarantine policy is completely irrational and unscientific."
The Fictional Nature of Artificial 'Herd Immunity' Claimed by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA)
Third, Attorney Kim claimed that the government's artificial herd immunity is 'fictional.' He said, "The government says that to achieve 70% herd immunity, 70% of the population must be vaccinated," and added:
"Herd immunity refers to naturally infecting healthy young people first and then protecting the remaining high-risk groups, such as those with underlying conditions and the elderly. However, the KDCA has been pursuing herd immunity by gradually lowering the vaccination age groups, starting from the beginning of this year with those 70 and older, then 60-64, and so on. What the KDCA demands is not for achieving herd immunity. Recently, they are no longer asserting that content."
The Risks and Fictional Nature of Booster Shots, Which Are More Toxic Than the First and Second Doses
Fourth, Attorney Kim claimed that booster shots, which require additional vaccination, are more dangerous. Booster shots mean receiving an increased dose compared to the first and second vaccines. Attorney Kim said, "They are talking about second, third, and booster shots to accumulate this poisonous vaccine in the body," and claimed:
"The KDCA and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety do not have evidence that this injection prevents COVID-19 infection. This is because Pfizer and Moderna do not have such data. The clinical trials conducted by Pfizer and Moderna were severely flawed. Overseas scholars have been saying since last year that they were not designed to prevent progression to severe illness or death. I've read a lot of their papers and articles. What the KDCA is saying now—that getting this shot will end COVID—is completely fictional."
It Causes Blood Clot Formation, But Not Detected in Blood Tests
Fifth, Attorney Kim claimed that many people suffering side effects or dying from blood clot formation after vaccination are due to the vaccine, and said:
"Now, vaccinated individuals do not know what long-term side effects may occur in their bodies. Many are experiencing blocked blood vessels and the formation of blood clots. This blood clot formation is not detected in general blood tests. Blood tests come out normal. It only shows up in a special D-dimer test. Therefore, even if you go to the hospital, they can only say it seems like a blood clot has formed, but they can't provide any treatment. Once you get this shot and blood clots start forming, there is no way to stop it. COVID vaccination is unscientific."
KDCA Hides Vaccine Side Effects, Making Victim Consent Forms Invalid from the Start
Sixth, Attorney Kim claimed, "Health authorities are hiding side effects that can occur during vaccination." The KDCA is not providing detailed information about possible side effects. In the U.S., the FDA listed side effects that can occur from COVID-19 preventive vaccination regardless of brand in October last year. This data lists serious incurable and difficult-to-treat diseases equivalent to death, such as transverse myelitis, anaphylaxis, epilepsy, seizures, stroke, and autoimmune diseases. Attorney Kim pointed out regarding the KDCA not informing about these side effects:
"Did the KDCA or the vaccinating hospital inform you that vaccination could lead to these diseases? Probably most hospitals did not. Consent obtained without providing information about side effects is legally invalid. Therefore, citizens did not give legally valid consent before getting the shot. I hope vaccinated individuals look into the ingredients and possible side effects of this injection. The phase 3 trials are scheduled to end at the end of 2022, and some extend beyond 2023. After clinical trials end, further research based on that data is needed to study how serious the side effects are on the human body. Therefore, what is usually called a vaccine requires 5-10 years of research. But this injection was developed in just over a year."
Vaccinated Individuals Are Essentially Clinical Trial Subjects
Seventh, the ongoing mandatory vaccination is actually a large-scale clinical trial. Without proper clinical trials and without knowing the side effects, citizens who consented to vaccination were deceived into consenting, effectively becoming clinical trial subjects without true consent. Attorney Kim appealed to citizens walking in Gangnam Station as follows:
"You are becoming clinical trial subjects. In normal clinical trials, they use consent forms stating that even if side effects occur in your body, we are not responsible because we paid the price. Pfizer, Moderna, and the Korean government have immunity agreements with foreign governments as well. Therefore, Pfizer or Moderna will not take responsibility for you. The government should take responsibility with our tax money, but they cut the budget from 400 million to even less. Now, articles say compensation for side effects is 7,200 won. What do you think when you see such articles? Your body is the only one given by your parents.
The side effects from the injection are too serious. In contrast, as of August 30 this year, only 50 people have died from the coronavirus without underlying conditions. That's the national statistic. Our country has 30-40 suicides per day. For a coronavirus that caused 50 deaths in a year and a half among those without underlying conditions, getting vaccinated and risking myocarditis, pericarditis, autoimmune diseases—myocarditis and pericarditis have a 20-25% chance of causing myocardial infarction, that is, heart attack, within 5 years. Would you risk that for a coronavirus that causes colds? Even if it was made in a lab, it can't be made much more dangerous than a naturally occurring virus. That's the law of nature, confirmed by last year's statistics. That information just doesn't reach our ears due to media control. If you actively search, you can find that information.
Would you risk myocarditis, pericarditis, autoimmune diseases, anaphylaxis, Guillain-Barré syndrome to block a mild virus that causes colds? If you don't at least search and speak out to reclaim your rights now, you will have to risk regretting it for life with such serious illnesses every 6 months. Is this a normal country, normal health policy, normal KDCA policy? Please think about it once."
Unscientific Propaganda Ignoring the Innate Immune System
Eighth, the KDCA is distorting the COVID pandemic, whose fatality rate has dropped to flu levels, as a deadly infectious disease at a national disaster level. Even if infected, the human innate immune system kills the virus before producing antibodies, so there's no need to worry. Nevertheless, they are inciting citizens to force vaccination. Attorney Kim said about the human innate immune system:
"There's no need to block viruses from entering our body. Infection itself doesn't need to be blocked; just strengthen innate immunity, which prevents infection from developing into disease. Antibody immunity is not necessary. Healthy people overcome this mild coronavirus without antibodies. Asymptomatic infections are proof of that. Antibody immunity is only a tiny part of our immune system. Healthy people can defeat this cold-like coronavirus through cellular immunity, T-cell immunity, without antibodies.
Our body has lived in balance with viruses, bacteria, and germs. But when do we get sick? When we overwork, don't eat healthy food, drink alcohol, and weaken our innate immunity—that's when it becomes illness. No need for antibodies. Whether antibodies form or not, how long they last—all that is unnecessary. The vaccine injection itself is unnecessary. If needed, I'll provide the data. I'm happy to debate anyone who wants to. I am Attorney Kim Woo-kyung, who is suing the state in court to inform that this injection, called COVID preventive vaccination but with no preventive effect, is wrong. If you have unknowns or questions, I'll answer with evidence."
The False Claim of 'Asymptomatic' Transmission to Others
Ninth, Attorney Kim claimed that "'asymptomatic infected person' is a new term created by this government and a fake concept." Here is Attorney Kim's explanation:
"I'll explain the concept of confirmed cases in detail. We have no way to verify if the number of confirmed cases reported by the KDCA through press releases on TV news and media is accurate. Even if it's the real number, the RT-PCR (COVID test) method approved by the KDCA and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in our country has accuracy approaching zero. The same goes for rapid antigen tests sold in pharmacies. Leaked UK health data estimates the accuracy of rapid antigen tests at 2-25%. Including asymptomatic cases in confirmed cases also has no scientific or epidemiological basis.
The claim that asymptomatic people can transmit the coronavirus has only one case reported. A Chinese woman on a business trip to Germany infected four or five people after a business meeting, which was published in a scientific paper, but she was not asymptomatic. She had symptoms, had a fever, took fever reducers, and lied. Therefore, there has been not a single case of an asymptomatic person transmitting the virus to others until now. Try requesting information disclosure from the KDCA. Ask what they think about this case and if an asymptomatic person, not symptomatic, can transmit the virus to others. They will probably say no. KDCA Director Kim Kwang-il also said he won't get tested because he is asymptomatic. But what are they telling the public?
They send kids home because a confirmed case appeared in the next class, prevent classes, force remote learning, block communication with friends, and deprive us of rights we should enjoy as humans, while they themselves say they are asymptomatic and refuse COVID tests. But why do we have to leave school and go home if asymptomatic, and everyone has to endure nose swabbing? Do you enjoy nose swabbing? The more you tolerate COVID testing nose swabbing, the longer this scam of totalitarian control over a cold virus continues. Now they see you as slaves. If slaves obey well, why would the master give freedom and release them?
The Spanish flu a century ago didn't last this long. Even then, the state said to wear masks. But after the Spanish flu ended, research proved masks were ineffective. The state does not exist for you. The state functions properly only when you fulfill your duty as citizens and nationals to monitor, when you become smart and point out and supervise when their policies are wrong. If the state always worked for you and functioned properly, why have wars occurred in human history, and why do we live so hard at work and school? Please think once about the role of the state and the role as nationals."
Join the Anti-Vaccine Passport Campaign.
Attorney Kim concluded his speech by requesting many citizens to join the ongoing weekly marches. He said, "If you're worried about the vaccine passport, we plan to campaign by walking this street every Saturday at 5 PM, so please join us. This is a topic related to your irreplaceable health. Please join us. Even in cold, snow, or rain, we will walk this place to awaken more people and answer your questions. When you have time, please join in informing about the dangers of this COVID injection."
A citizen who revealed that his family is hovering between life and death due to vaccine side effects picked up the microphone and said the following.
"Everyone, you've worked hard today. To our young men and women, thank you very much. I came up from Busan, and I want to offer words of encouragement to all of you who are working so hard for a good cause. To confess the truth, my younger brother—my second sibling—received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine and was fine, but after the second dose, he is now hovering between life and death. While I was in Seoul, I heard news that families of my acquaintances got vaccinated, and the entire family is scattered in different hospitals. When I bring this up to the KDCA or this government, there is no response at all. What should we do about this? Like the Sewol ferry disaster or traffic accidents, doesn't this seem like the government is killing South Korean citizens?"
The Busan citizen noted that people might treat those engaging in such activities as crazy, but activists opposing mandatory vaccination are absolutely not crazy. He emphasized that in future struggles, they need to conduct in-depth research, such as training more rally staff, to fight effectively. If they hold filibuster struggles in front of the National Assembly, KDCA, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Blue House, terrestrial media will report on it.
